Ask 5 different experts how the economy (and we) got here and where we are headed and most likely you will receive 5 different answers. However, do enough research and there are definite actions and patterns which helped to result in where we are now. 

It is imperative to understand how we got here in order to hopefully learn from the actions of those in control and keep the decision makers under our scrutiny in the future....
